Meal Plans

These are a couple of our most popular meal plans. We can also develop a plan specific to your needs. Packages can be purchased for weekly fresh service, bi-weekly, monthly, or even seasonally.

Three Entrees prepared for you fresh weekly and up to six servings. Choose three different entrees and appropriate side dish (es). This plan is ideal for the busy professional or family who wants fresh and healthy dishes to supplement throughout the week. This plan can also be taken bi-weekly and as a freezer service.

Five Entrees prepared for your freezer and up to four servings. Choose five different entrees and appropriate side dish (es). This plan is ideal for busy professionals or retired couples who want to eat in more often and who enjoy comfort style stews and casseroles.

One of the benefits of our service is that we do the grocery shopping for you. We visit several of the best stores and farms the Hudson Valley has to offer. Stores like Whole Foods, Adam’s Fairacre Farms, and your local butcher and fishmonger. Groceries are billed in addition to the chef service fee.

Dinner or Cocktail Parties
Let us do the cooking, so you can be a guest at your own party! We can plan and execute sit-down dinner parties as well as buffet style meals for up to 40 people.

We begin by meeting with you, learning more about your event, and working with you to decide the tone you’d like to set. We’ll plan the perfect menu to compliment the occasion – from hearty outdoor BBQ, to lavish holiday feast.

All food will be prepared in your home the day of the event, and you never have to worry about clean up. We’ll leave your kitchen sparkling. Just enjoy the evening and know that every last detail has been handled.

Romantic Dinner for Two
For a truly special evening with the one you love, leave the cooking up to us. Perfect for a special occasion, birthday, anniversary, or engagement. Or just to show that special person in your life how much you care, and give them a night off in the kitchen!

Our Romantic Dinner for Two package includes; Appetizer, Salad, Entrée with side dish and desert. We will collaborate on the perfect menu for the occasion, and also have delectable menus for Mediterranean, Continental, Southwestern, and Asian cuisine to choose from. We will prepare and discreetly serve this special meal, clean up after ourselves, and even lock the door on the way out. You enjoy the rest of the evening.

Menu Consultation/Development

Many restaurants are looking for easy ways to take advantage of seasonal cuisine and entice customers in search of healthy local foods. Other establishments may need an outside perspective on how to optimize or expand upon a current menu. While a new restaurant might need more collaboration on the front-end to develop a menu that is right for the business and differentiates them from competitors. What’s Cooking is here to help, no matter the issue.

We provide menu and recipe development for restaurants, country clubs or any food establishment looking to create or expand upon menus. We work with you to identity your needs and untapped opportunities. Each recipe will be created and tested for perfection and to your satisfaction. We can also put together a recipe cookbook as a point of reference for staff members.

What’s Cooking can prepare hands-on instruction to you and/or your kitchen staff after each menu project to ensure all new menu items are prepared and plated in a consistent manner. This whole experience works best as a true collaboration. Working with your kitchen talent, we aim to develop a culinary offering second to none.
